Another source of miso soup

It seems that the Redjeki Toko in Delft (click here for my Google Map that’ll lead you right there) also sells miso soup! I acquired a supply of my old favourite, but also decided to try a different type of miso, just for kicks:

It’s a so-called family pack, I prefer to call it The Addict’s Friend. There are eight (8) servings in there, man! Notice the big ‘8’ on the package promoting this fact. There is also 30% more or less of something else in there, but I’ll probably never know exactly what.

In any case, this miso is nice, and has more floating thingies in there, but somehow not as nice as the other stuff. (Yes, I know, I should work on my miso terminology.)

  1. Not the same stuff, but within the family of delicious soup-like-oriental-japanese-or-close-things, I recommend “Good Noodles”, with kip taste (see note 1), from Unox. Available in your closest Albert-Heijn (alpha én) chapel.

note 1: I didn’t try any other taste, and I don’t really want to!

  2. Hi Charl
That strip of orange thingies look more like condoms. No wonder it was not quite the same stuff…. Enjoy them all the same!
