Congrats on your BKO!

In future: if having difficulty with any aspect of Dutch infrastructure / admin you are welcome to call me for advice. As you know I have a "I f%@* the system" membership card, and for the instances where it doesn't work I will happily join you for a beer to wash the sorrows away. In this case it would have saved you a deposit-worth of beers. However, you can still try your luck by filling in a complaint form. They have all transactions on record, and may just refund you.

Indeed, I have had similar gripes with the OV system, but am hopefully not to repeat the same mistakes again.
Hint: The TU Delft Kampuskaart interferes with the OV chip reader - I now always remove the damn thing from my wallet when doing a graceful swipe at the inconveniently located check-in pole on Delft's train platform (for which, in order to reach it, one has to cross the whole width of the platform)

" If you see me lying outside under a tree with one of my classes, you know we’re Learning, with a capital L."

---
This is the first time I have actually studied to fast, should have rewarded myself with another year of "study delay".

O well, Congratulations on the BKO.

By the way, though partly the OV-Chipkaart is working beautifully as expected fr students achieving their "OV-Jaarkaart" is a big pain in the ass since when the system gets crowded it just shuts down. Having alot of students getting their abo results in daily failures. This is also why full integration is delayed again till further notice :).

I have my abo. though and it works like a charm. Waving your wallet in front of the checkin/checkout thingy looks cool, like they do it in New York!
