This reminds me of the concept of distinct scientific discoveries: given similar environments, two scientists can seperately discover the same thing at about the same time without knowledge of the other. I do all three of your steps (and sometimes also forget). If this counts as a discovery, i.e. how to process your working day, then we discovered the same thing. I "virtually" pat you on the back. Now the only difficult part is to stick to these rules... Excellent advice.
