Other thing is, it's easily upgradeable once the passively cooled 8800GT (Sparkle has announced one of these) becomes available and affordable. :) Pieter!!! LTNS!

I would have loved an 8800GT (although I spend my days writing emails and proposals, graphics and visualisation are core business for me), but the 8600GT I have in mind is completely silent (passively-cooled, see) and a whole hunk of cash cheaper.
